Airbnb Turnover Cleaning Checklist for Perth Hosts

A good Airbnb turnover resets the whole property to guest-ready in a fixed time window: strip and remake the beds, clean bathrooms and kitchen, vacuum and mop, restock supplies, check for damage and take photos. A written checklist keeps every clean consistent and protects your reviews.
Cleanliness is the number one thing guests mention in short-stay reviews. A consistent turnover process is the best way to protect your rating and make every stay feel fresh.
Before you start
- Check the booking notes for damage, special requests or early check-ins.
- Open windows and doors for airflow.
- Bring your supplies: cloths, products, vacuum, fresh linen and consumables.
- Take a quick set of photos on arrival to record the state of the property.
Bedrooms
- Strip every bed and put the linen straight in the wash.
- Remake with fresh sheets and check mattress protectors for stains.
- Check under the bed and in drawers for items left behind.
- Dust surfaces and wipe bedside tables.
- Vacuum the floor.
Bathrooms and kitchen
- Disinfect the toilet, shower, basin and taps, and wipe mirrors.
- Replace towels, bath mat, toilet paper, soap and shampoo.
- Empty and wipe out the fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
- Wipe benches, the stovetop and the sink, and put dishes away.
- Empty all bins and put in new liners.
Living areas and finishing touches
- Dust, vacuum and mop all floors.
- Plump cushions and straighten furniture.
- Check the remote, Wi-Fi details and house manual are in place.
- Check the patio, BBQ and outdoor furniture.
- Take final photos, then lock up and update your calendar.
